We are looking for a Freelance On-site Event Manager who will lead our events with passion and dedication. Here, you'll have the opportunity to be on the front lines as we create unique events for our clients – whether you have industry experience or simply a lot of drive and a willingness to learn.
What does the role involve?
As an Event Manager at Go To Events, you will have overall responsibility for ensuring that each event runs smoothly and meets our high standards. You will lead a team of event staff and be the one to demonstrate how things should be done.
You will be a role model for new employees, showing them how we work – with high spirits, structure, and a hands-on approach.
What can you expect?
You won't be stuck behind a desk. You'll be where the action is – on the floor, facilitating, instructing, and ensuring everything goes according to plan and everyone has a great time.
Your tasks include:
- Coordinating the team
- Leading activities and events
- Ensuring fantastic service and an unforgettable experience for customers
We believe in learning by doing, and you will quickly become part of the team, learning the role through practical experience and collaboration with experienced colleagues.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who:
- want to take responsibility and have a clear presence at events
- love being at the center of the action and are passionate about creating great experiences for others
- are a natural leader – or eager to learn to become one
- have a flexible approach and can work weekends and evenings – because festivities don't follow office hours
Previous experience in the event industry is an advantage – but not a requirement. We value personality, commitment, and a willingness to learn more highly than an impressive CV.
This is not a traditional administrative job.
Many associate event management with desk work and planning – but for us, it's about being active at the event itself. You will be at the heart of the execution, and your passion for facilitating fun and engaging experiences is what we value most.

We offer a flexible setup with the option to swap shifts – but we expect you to be available for shifts during our busiest periods:
spring/summer (May–June & August–September) and the Christmas season (November–December).
