The Battle of the Lakes is a team-building experience that takes place along Copenhagen's iconic lakes. Your team will be given a locked suitcase and a first clue – the rest is up to you to figure out. Solve puzzles, crack codes, gather clues, and work your way through a series of challenges that require teamwork, creativity, and quick decisions.

This isn't about googling the answer. It's about being present – together.

You will meet at our event venue Ø64 at Trianglen, where you will be divided into teams and given a short briefing. Each team will receive a suitcase containing everything they need – but the suitcase is locked. First task: Find the code.

That's where the hunt begins. Each task you complete opens up the next one. You move around the area, use your surroundings, and create something together—things you take back with you to the final. Because it's not over when the time runs out. That's when it gets exciting.

In the final, all teams gather at Ø64. Results are compared, photos are shown, stories are shared. Here, the winner of the Battle of the Lakes is decided – and here, the conversations and laughter that make team building memorable take place.

How it works

The day starts with a welcome and briefing at Ø64 by Sortedams Sø. You will be divided into teams of 4-6 people, and each team will be given a locked suitcase. The suitcase contains everything you need – a Polaroid camera, task cards, materials – but first you have to find the code that opens it.

Then the hunt begins. You have 60 minutes to solve as many tasks as possible. The tasks are designed to require physical presence at the lakes – you cannot solve them from the office or over the phone. It's all about observing, collaborating, and making decisions together.

Everything you create along the way—Polaroid photos, notes, objects—you bring back to the final. Here, all teams gather, and we review the results together. Photos are displayed, points are tallied, and the winner is announced.

Team tasks

We won't reveal all the tasks in advance – that's part of the experience. But expect a mix of:

  • Observation tasks that require you to use your surroundings
  • Creative challenges you solve as a team
  • Logical puzzles that unlock the next step
  • Photo assignments documenting your journey

All tasks are designed to bring different skills into play. It is not the fastest or smartest who wins – it is the team that works best together.
