Number Relay

Number Relay can be played both indoors and outdoors – in the office, parking lot, warehouse, or virtually anywhere. This makes the activity flexible and perfect for any environment where you want to have a fun competition with colleagues.

Participants start at a marked line and run to a table with 15 cups, each hiding a number. They must find the numbers from 1 to 15 in the correct sequence, requiring sharp focus and memory. When a participant lifts a cup and finds the correct number (e.g., number 1), they run back to their team, allowing the next participant to search for number 2. If a participant lifts a cup with the wrong number or an empty cup, they must replace it and return to their team before the next player takes their turn.

Winning the Number Relay requires a good strategy – and here are a few tips (spoiler alert!). The team behind the starting line can assist by remembering where the numbers are hidden, but they can only communicate from the starting line, not directly with the person at the table. Therefore, clear communication and coordination are essential for success! Perhaps one team member could focus on cups of a specific color or a particular section of the table to make finding the numbers easier and more organized.
