The Cocktail Academy is a cocktail course for the whole team, where you get to step behind the bar yourselves. Professional bartenders will show you the craft behind classic cocktails, and then it’s your turn to shake, stir, and garnish. It’s both fun and enjoyable, and everyone can join in—even those who’ve never held a shaker before.
We’ll come to you with all the equipment, glasses, ice, ingredients, and garnishes, and set up cocktail stations in your office, the cafeteria, or at the location of your choice. You’ll be divided into teams and receive an introduction to techniques, flavor balance, and bartending tools before you get started on your own.
Along the way, we’ll ramp up the competition. The teams will compete to create the best cocktail of the evening, try their hand at mixing while blindfolded, and craft their own signature cocktail, which the bartenders will taste and judge. We’ll wrap up by announcing the winning team and raising a toast to the evening’s best bartenders.
If you’d like a theme, we’ll structure the course around it. It could be a Gatsby-themed evening with 1920s cocktails or something completely different that fits your party.
The Cocktail Academy serves as a team-building activity in itself, as a prelude to Friday happy hour, or as an activity for the summer party and Christmas party.
